WE BELIEVE
One God
Eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit; that the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are never identical as to person, nor confused as to relation, nor divided in respect to the Godhead, nor opposed as to the cooperation.
The Holy Scripture
We believe that the Scriptures consisting of the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments are verbally inspired by God, inerrant and infallible in their original writings, and that they constitute the supreme and final authority for faith and practice.
Depravity of Man
We believe that Man was originally created in the image of God, but that the whole race of man was separated from God in the sin of Adam. Therefore, we believe that no man can reconcile himself with God and gain entrance to His Kingdom unless and until he is born again through Jesus Christ.
Salvation
We believe that salvation is the gift of God by grace alone, that it is received through repentance and personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and that this faith should be followed by obedient living that pleases God.
Eternity
We believe in the premillennial second coming of Jesus Christ, and in the bodily resurrection of both the just and the unjust. We believe that heaven is the hope and the home of the saved for eternity and that hell is a literal place of eternal separation from God for those who are unsaved.
The Church
We believe that the body of Christ is composed of all born again believers everywhere without respect to race, color or denomination. We believe that the local church is comprised of born again believers who are baptized by immersion in water in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and who come together for worship, instruction and Christian service.
Ordinances
Water Baptism: We believe that baptism in water shall be by immersion in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, and shall be administered only to those who give evidence of being born again.
Lord’s Supper: We believe that the Lord’s Supper is to be observed by all believers who are baptized in water. Each participant should examine himself/herself before partaking. It is the memorial of our Lord’s sufferings and death and is to be observed until He returns.
Baptism of the Holy Spirit
We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is a definite experience, subsequent and in additional to his saving work. In being born again of the Spirit, there is an impartation of life, but in the baptism of the Spirit, there is an impartation of power for witnessing. Speaking in other tongues is a gift and one of the initial, physical evidences of having received this endowment of power.
